Trail passing under a railroad bridge

Along the trail we passed under an rail line crossing the creek. The path has a roof over it as you pass under. Looking up through the translucent roof it looked like it was a good thing it was there. Apparently it is not uncommon for rocks and other debris to fall from the tracks above.
Trail passing under a railroad bridge

Unfortunatly we did not see any trains the entire time we were on the trail. The scenery was still very nice. While we were sitting here along the trail for a few we saw a deer crossing the creek just downstream from us. I didn't have the camera ready to catch it.
Crossing over the tracks

At another point along the trail you have to take a bridge up over the active tracks. Nice view from the brige. There is also an example here of the many remnants we saw of old tracks that use to pass through this valley.
Tunnel under the viaduct

I beleive this is where we passed under the Carrollton Viaduct. Some time has passed since this trip but I'm pretty sure thats what this is.
I don't think I need to say anything here

Part of me says I shouldn't post this picture but I can't help myself. The trail does pass a less than attractive spot or two but we were never in a bad part of town. There were some interesting buildings to see along the way, I just didn't get my camera out for all of them.
