Everytime I visit I'm still struck by the elevations of this town. This view is from just in front of the church looking down to the train tunnel. Most of the roofs you see are within 1 or 2 small blocks of the church and yet your looking down at the top of 3 story buildings.
This is again in front of the church. You can see that the buildings here again are 3 stories and yet you have to look down to the roof of your neighbor

This is from Table Rock, a historic point above town. You can see pretty far down river from this point as well as the church steeple, train tunnel and in the far distance the Jefferson Pike (Rt340) bridge.
