Looking downriver you can see the Wright's Ferry Bridge and just beoynd that the Columbia-Wrightsville Bridge. If you look close to the center of the photo there is a white spot on the side of the mountain. This is a tent located at Lauxmont Farms. The river view from that point, the Sunken Gardens is Incredible. My friend Aaron was lucky enough to have his wedding there.

Originally run by the PRR this is now part of Norfolk Southern territory. Just to the left of the tracks you can find remnants of the canal system and on the other side of the old canal you can find a few remains of the industrial buildings that occupied this plot of land in the 1800's.
