My Story

Joining Sigma Nu had an unexpected beginning for me. Sitting in the Quad at Philadelphia University, minding my own business listening to a band playing during the first week for freshman and kinda checking out their lead singer when Mike Mizov comes up and asks me if I had considered joining a fraternity. Well of course initially my response was no. My view of fraternities had no place for someone such as myself. But, reluctantly I agreed to look at their information. That's when I met Keith Halpern. That boy could sell anything. So, after some time talking to him and a few other guys who were there I decided I would try it out.

I can say now that I'm glad I bought that gold colored Philadephia University t-shirt. It just happened to be the same color as Mu Pi's rush shirts that year and it was also one of the reasons Mike approached me (and along with my height made my nickname). Thanks Mike for taking the initiative, thanks Flounder for selling me on the idea of joining a fraternity, thanks to my really good friend Aaron who also joined the fraternity and kept me going even when I really wanted to just say forget it and to Matt Gravelle for keeping me interested also. Thanks Guys.
